2WhentheswitchontheentertainmentdisplayisON
andthePilotswitch(2)ispressedbriey,theACC
indicatorontheinstrumentpackturnsblueandACC
isactivated,withthetargetspeedbeingtheactual
speedofthevehicleatthetimeofactivation(ifthe
speedislessthan30km/h,thetargetspeedwillbe
setat30km/h).Ifthespeedofthevehicleaheadis
greaterthanthecruisetargetspeedofyourvehicle,
yourvehiclewillmaintainthetargetspeedtoconduct
constantspeedcruise;ifthespeedofthevehicle
aheadislowerthanthecruisetargetspeedofyour
vehicle,itwillenterthecar-followingcruise,andthe
tailschematicsofthevehicleaheadisdisplayedonthe
instrumentpack.Inthecar-followingcruise,youcan
followthevehicleaheadtoastop.Ifthestoptimeis
lessthanacertaintime,thevehiclemayautomatically
startofftofollowthevehicleahead,otherwisethe
driverneedstore-activateadaptivecruisecontrol
accordingtothepromptsontheinstrumentpack.
Note:ManualdeactivationofeithertheStability
ControlSystem(SCS)orTractionControlSystem(
TCS)willinhibittheoperationoftheadaptivecruise
controlsystem.
Note:Scenariosinwhichtheadaptivecruisecontrol
maynotfollowthevehicleaheadtoastopinclude,
butarenotlimitedto,thefollowingscenarios:
Thevehicleaheaddeceleratessharply;
Astoppedvehiclecrossesyourlane,isonthelane
line,orpartiallyintrudesintoyourlane;
Thevehicleaheadcutsout,sothatanewfollowing
targetsuddenlyappearsahead;
Theoverlapratebetweenthestationarytarget
aheadandyourvehicleislow;
Thespeeddifferencebetweenyourvehicleandthe
targetvehicleaheadisexcessive;
Thetargetaheadisaspecial-shapedvehicle,a
vehiclewithloadedobjectsprotrudingfromthe
sideorrearoramodiedvehicle;
Thetargetaheadoverlapswithanotherlargeor
smallvehicle.
