TheairbagSRSprovidesADDITIONAL
protectioninaseverefrontalimpactonly.
Itdoesnotreplacetheneed,orrequirement
towearaseatbelt.
Theairbagstogetherwiththeseatbelts
provideoptimumprotectionforadults,
butitisnotthecaseforinfants.Theseat
beltandairbagsystemsinthevehicleare
notdesignedforprotectinginfants.The
protectionrequiredbyinfantsshouldbe
providedbychildrestraints.
Inthecorrespondingplacewhereairbagsaretted,
thereisawarningsignstating'AIRBAG'.Generally,SRS
containsthefollowingcomponents(thecomponentsare
notcompletelythesameaccordingtodifferentmodeland
conguration):
•T wofrontalairbags(ttedinthecentrepartofthe
steeringwheelandtheinstrumentpanelabovetheglove
boxrespectively)
•T wosideairbags(ttedintheouterseatbackcushionof
thetwofrontseats)
•T wosidecurtainairbags(ttedintheroofinteriortrims
onbothsides)
•Onecentreairbag(ttedintheinnerseatbackcushion
ofthedriverseat)
