AutomaticDeactivationofAdaptiveCruise
Inthefollowingsituations,theACCmaybeautomatically
deactivated,whichrequiresthedrivertomanipulatethe
vehicleonhis/herown:
•T urnofftheACCswitchontheentertainmentdisplay;
•Depressthebrakepedalwhenthevehicleisnot
stationary;
•MovetheshiftlevertoanygearotherthanDrivegear;
•Thedriverunfastenshis/herseatbelt;
•Depresstheacceleratorpedalforalongtime;
•Anydoororthebonnet/tailgateisopened;
•PulluptheEPBswitch;
•Followthevehicleaheadtoastopandthestoptime
exceedsacertaintime.
•Thecameraorradarisblocked,orsurroundingstrigger
thesafeexitmechanismofsensor,orthesystemfails.
•Thevehiclespeedisgreaterthancertainvalue.
Note:Iffollowingthevehicleaheadtoastopwith
theadaptivecruisecontrolsystemenabled,ifanyof
thefollowingconditionsoccurwhilstthevehicleisina
stoppedstate,theEPBwillautomaticallybeapplied:
•Thedriverunfastenstheseatbelt;
•Thedriverdoorisopened;
•Thestationarytimeexceedsthepresettimeperiod.
AdaptiveCruiseOverride
Ifthedriveractivelydepressestheacceleratorpedal
whentheACCisactive,thespeedwillbecontrolledby
theacceleratorpedalandmaybeaboveorbelowthe
previouslysettargetcruisespeed.Whentheaccelerator
pedalisreleased,theACCwillresumetothepresettarget
cruisespeed.
AdaptiveCruiseResume
Iftheadaptivecruisecontrolremainsonafterthepause,
reactivateitbymovingtheadjustmentknobupward.In
thiscase,thetargetcruisespeedisthetargetspeedbefore
theadaptivecruisecontrolexits,andthefollowingdistance
isthefollowingdistancebeforetheadaptivecruisecontrol
exits.
