Inthefollowingsituations,theACCmaybeautomatically
deactivated,whichrequiresthedrivertomanipulatethe
vehicleonhis/herown:
T urnofftheACCswitchontheentertainmentdisplay;
Depressthebrakepedalwhenthevehicleisnot
stationary;
MovetheshiftlevertoanygearotherthanDrivegear;
Thedriverunfastenshis/herseatbelt;
Depresstheacceleratorpedalforalongtime;
Anydoororthebonnet/tailgateisopened;
PulluptheEPBswitch;
Followthevehicleaheadtoastopandthestoptime
exceedsacertaintime.
Thecameraorradarisblocked,orsurroundingstrigger
thesafeexitmechanismofsensor,orthesystemfails.
Thevehiclespeedisgreaterthancertainvalue.
Note:Iffollowingthevehicleaheadtoastopwith
theadaptivecruisecontrolsystemenabled,ifanyof
thefollowingconditionsoccurwhilstthevehicleisina
stoppedstate,theEPBwillautomaticallybeapplied:
Thedriverunfastenstheseatbelt;
Thedriverdoorisopened;
Thestationarytimeexceedsthepresettimeperiod.
AdaptiveCruiseOverride
Ifthedriveractivelydepressestheacceleratorpedal
whentheACCisactive,thespeedwillbecontrolledby
theacceleratorpedalandmaybeaboveorbelowthe
previouslysettargetcruisespeed.Whentheaccelerator
pedalisreleased,theACCwillresumetothepresettarget
cruisespeed.
AdaptiveCruiseResume
Iftheadaptivecruisecontrolremainsonafterthepause,
reactivateitbymovingtheadjustmentknobupward.In
thiscase,thetargetcruisespeedisthetargetspeedbefore
theadaptivecruisecontrolexits,andthefollowingdistance
isthefollowingdistancebeforetheadaptivecruisecontrol
exits.
