Note:Itisofequalimportanceforpassengersin
therearseatstofastentheirseatbeltscorrectly.
Otherwise,passengerswithseatbeltsnotcorrectly
fastenedwillbethrownforwardinaccidents,andwill
endangerthemselvesaswellasthedriverandother
passengers.NEVERfastenthedriverseatbeltoruse
abucklereplacementwhenthedriverseatisvacant
orwhenexitingthevehicle.
Whenthevehicleisinmotion,themovingspeedofthe
occupantsisidenticaltotherunningspeedofthevehicle.
Intheeventoffrontalcollisionaccidentoremergency
brake,theoccupantsnothavingtheseatbeltfastened
properlywillcontinuemovingforwardatthespeedbefore
collisionduetoinertiainsteadofstoppingimmediately
untiltheycomeintocontactwithastationaryobject.
Theseobjectsmaybethesteeringwheel,instrument
panel,windscreenoranyobjectinthevehicleintheway
offorwardmovement.
Fortheoccupantshavingtheseatbeltfastenedproperly,
theywillslowdowntogetherwiththevehiclebecause
oftheautomaticlockingfunctionoftheseatbelt,soas
topreventtheout-of-controlmovementwhichmaycause
seriousinjurytothedriverandoccupants.Underthe
protectionofseatbelt,youwillhavelongerdistanceand
moretimetostopmoving,andthestrongestboneinyour
bodywillbeartheimpactforce.Thatiswhyitisimportant
tofastentheseatbeltcorrectly.
Whenminortrafcaccidentoccurs,tryingtoshoreup
yourbodywitharmsisverydangerous.Eventhelow
speedcollisionwillgenerateforcethatarmsandhandscan
notsupport,therefore,seatbeltsmustbeworncorrectly
duringdriving.
