pushtheshiftknobbackwardtotheend,andthevehicle
willshiftintoDrivegear.
Kick-down
Thedrivewheelsmayskidwhenkick-down
isactivatedonroadsurfaceswithlow
adhesion,thismayleadtothevehicle
slidingoutofcontrol.
WithDgearselected,pressingtheacceleratorpedalall
thewaydowninonemotion(alsoknownasKick-down
)willprovidebetteraccelerationperformanceduring
overtaking.Atcertainspeeds,itwillallowthetransmission
toshifttoalowergearimmediately,andprovidefast
acceleration.Oncetheacceleratorpedalisreleased,it
willresumeasuitablehighergear(basedonthevehicle
speedandthepositionoftheacceleratorpedal).
ProtectionMode
Whenparking,drivethevehicletoasafe
areaonthepremiseofensuringyour
ownsafetyandcomplyingwithtrafc
regulations.
ElectricDriveUnitOverheatProtection
Theelectricdriveunitmaybecomeveryhotina
high-temperatureenvironmentwithfrequentstarting,
frequentrapidaccelerationanddeceleration,long-term
continuoussteepclimbing,andoverloadoftheelectric
driveunit.Inordertoavoiddamagetothemotor ,the
systemwillactivatetheoverheatprotectionfunction.
Whenthesystemdetectsthattheelectricdriveunit
isoverheated,thewarningindicatorontheinstrument
interface
willilluminate.
Inthiscase,parkyourcarinasafeplaceorkeepalowload
andcontinuetodriveyourcarataconstantspeedtocool
themotor .Onlywhenthemotortemperatureisreduced
andthewarningindicatorextinguishescanthevehiclebe
startedofforbeshiftedtoothergearfordriving.
