StartingAid
Ifthedriver'sseatbeltisfastened,andtheacceleratorpedal
ispressedforstartoff,theEPBsystemwillbeautomatically
turnedoff.
EmergencyBrakingFunction
InappropriateuseoftheEPBcanleadto
accidentsandinjuries.Donotapplythe
EPBforbrakingtherunningvehicle,unless
inemergency.
Duringthedecelerationofthevehiclewith
EPB,DONOTswitchofftheStartswitch,
thiscouldresultinseriousinjury.
Intheeventofnormalbrakefailureduringdriving,
emergencybrakingcanbeinitiatedbypullingtheEPB
switchupwardandholding.Anaudiblewarningwillsound
duringemergencybraking.Thebrakingprocesswillbe
cancelledbyreleasingtheEPBswitch.
EPBSwitchFailureMode
WhentheEPBswitchfails,theEPBmalfunctionindicator
lamponthevehicleinstrumentpackilluminates,andthe
electronicparkingfunctioncannotbeenablednormally
whenoperatingtheEPBswitchatthistime.Y oushould
driveyourvehicletoalocalAuthorisedRepairerforrepair
immediately.
Ifyourvehicleshouldbeparkedinthefailuremode,please
drivetoaatground,andoperatetheStartswitchtoturn
offthepowersystem(keeptheinstrumentpackpowered
onandilluminated).Thebrakesystemwillautomatically
performtheelectronicparkingemergencyfunctionto
ensurethatthevehicleisparkedsafely.
IMPORTANT
IntheFailuremode,donotparkonaslopetoprevent
rolling.
Aftertheelectronicparkingemergencyfunctionis
enabled,fastenyourseatbelt,startthepowersystem,
shiftintoDriveorReversegear,releasetheclutchpedal
(ifequipped),anddepresstheacceleratorpedal.The
