deployment,itmaycauseburnsorserious
injury.
DONOTknockorstrikethepositionwhere
anyairbagrelatedpartsarelocated,so
astoavoidaccidentalairbagdeployment
whichmaycauseseriousinjuryoreven
death.
DONOTafxorplaceanyobjectson,or
adjacenttotheairbags.Thismayaffect
theairbagpassageorcreateprojectilesthat
maycauseinjuryorseriousharminthe
eventofairbagdeployment
Intheeventofacollision,theairbagcontrolunitmonitors
therateofdecelerationoraccelerationinducedbythe
collision,todeterminewhethertheairbagsshouldbe
deployed.Airbagdeploymentisvirtuallyinstantaneous
andoccurswithconsiderableforce,accompaniedbya
loudnoise.
Intheeventofaseverefrontalcollision,acompletely
deployedairbag,alongwithacorrectlywornseatbelt,
canlimitthemovementofthedriverandfrontpassenger,
reducingtheriskofheadandchestinjuries.Forvehicles
ttedwithsideairbagsandsidecurtainairbags,whenthe
vehicleencountersserioussidecollision,thecompletely
