noobjectsblockingtheviewbetweenthecameraand
thewindshield.
Note:Pleasewipecameralenseswithasoftclothor
washwithwater(oflowpressure)whenforeignobjects
arefoundonthecamerasurface.Donotuseahigh
pressurewaterjettoushthecamera,anddonotuse
abrasiveorsharpobjectstocleanthecamera.
CameraCalibration
Exceptforauthorisedafter-salesservicecentrepersonnel,
othersarestrictlyprohibitedfromremovingandretting
orreplacing.Thefrontviewcameramodulemustbe
re-calibratedintheeventofthefollowingconditions:
•Themoduleismaladjusted,e.g.thecamerapositionhas
changed;
•Removalandretofthecameraorcamerabracket;
•Removalandretofthewindscreen;
•Thefour-wheelalignmentparametershavechanged.
Note:Ifthefrontdetectionradarissubjecttostrong
vibrationorslightimpact,themountingpositionof
thefrontdetectionradarneedstobecheckedand
re-calibratedasnecessary.
Note:PleaseconsultanMGAuthorisedRepairerfor
moredetailsaboutcameracalibration.
Cameradetectionperformancewillbeaffected
inthefollowingcases:
•Cameradefacedorcoveredbyobviousforeignobjects;
coveredbyice,snow,mud,dust.
•Poorvisibilityorbadweather(heavyrain,snow,fog,
haze,smoke,dust,sandstorms,etc.).
•Whenlightconditionsarepoorsuchasevening,night,
unlittunnels,etc.
•Dustandwatersprayraisedbysanitationvehiclesand
sprinklersworkingintheadjacentlane;orwaterspray
raisedbythefrontorsidevehiclesonthehighwayon
rainydays.Unpavedroads,constructionareas.
•Stronglight(e.g.,headlightsofanoncomingvehicle,
headlightsofavehiclebehindyou,ordirectsunlight)
obstructsthecamera'sview.
•Stronglight,slantingsunlight,andotherexcessive
lightconditions(backlightingismorecommonathigh
altitudes).
