Pressingtheadjustmentknobwhentheconstant
speedcruisecontrolsystemisactivatedwillupdate
thevehiclespeedtothecurrentspeed.
T argetCruiseSpeedAdjustment
Whenthecruisecontrolisactive:
Normalpressingoftheacceleratorpedal(e.g.,overtaking)
willstillallowthevehicletoaccelerate.Whenthedesired
speedisreached,pressthespeedadjustmentknob(1),
andthetargetcruisespeedisupdatedtothecurrentspeed.
T ogglethespeedadjustmentknob(1)up/downandhold,
andthevehiclewillaccelerateordecelerateautomatically,
thenreleasetheswitchwhenthedesiredspeedisreached.
Alternatively,thevehiclespeedcanbeadjustedbytoggling
thespeedadjustmentknobup/downandreleasingit
immediately.Eachtogglewillincreaseordecreasethe
vehiclespeedbyapproximately1km/h.
Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisinoperation,thevehicle
stillcanbeacceleratedbypressingtheacceleratorpedal
(suchasovertaking).Releasingtheacceleratorpedalwill
returnthevehicletothesetcruisespeed.

Whenthecruisecontrolsystemisactive,thefollowing
actionswillcausethecruisecontrolsystemtoexitto
Standbystateandthecruisecontrolsystemindicatoron
theinstrumentpacktoilluminateinwhite(somemodels
showdarkcolorindaytimemode):
•ShortpressthePilotswitch(2).
•Brakepedalpressed.
•TheshiftleverismovedtoNposition.
•Poorroadconditionsmayleadtotheactivationofthe
StabilityControlSystem(SCS).Forsafetyreasons,the
cruisecontrolsystemwillautomaticallyexittoStandby
state.
•Steepslopesmaycausethevehiclespeedtodropor
riseexcessively,andthecruisecontrolsystemwill
automaticallyexittoStandbystate.
•EPBisoperatedinanabnormalmanner.
