4.5 Tray Rack and Trays
A. Removal
(1) Allow unit to cool or use care when removing
trays to prevent burns.
(2) After removing trays, pry upward (A, Fig.4-4)
on end of tray plate with a screwdriver while
pulling tray rack and plate assembly out (B) of
chamber.
B. Installation
(1) Place back edge of tray in chamber. Pressing
downward (A, Fig. 4-5) on top of tray rack,
slowly insert assembly into chamber (B).
4.6 Draining / Filling Reservoir
A. Draining Sterilizer
(1) Open sterilizer door.
(2) Pull level indicator tube (1, Figure 4-6) loose
from hose clips (2). Place tube in a suitable
empty container or sink that is below level of
sterilizer and drain reservoir.
B. Filling Sterilizer
(1) Place level indicator tube (1, Figure 4-6) in hose
clips (2).
(2) Pour distilled water
into fill opening (4) until
water level in level indicator tube (1) is at top of
fill level label (5).
EQUIPMENT ALERT
Install tray rack and plate assembly so that
angled end of plate is toward back
of
chamber. Do not
allow plate to contact water lever
sensor.

NOTE
The reservoir capacity when full is approximately
1.4 gallon (5.3 liters) for the M11 and 1.1 gallon (4.1
liter) for the M9. Assure container used to drain res-
ervoir into is of adequate capacity.
EQUIPMENT ALERT
Use only distilled water. The chlorine
found in normal tap water has a severe
corrosive effect on the stainless steel chamber. Fail-
ure to use distilled water may cause serious deterio-
ration and premature failure of the stainless steel
chamber.
