Setting the Maintenance Performed while the Power Is Turned off
You can perform maintenance on the printer automatically even when the power is turned off.
There are two types of maintenance: Head refreshing and cleaning.
(Supported from the firmware ver.2.40)
Setting the refresh operation while the power is turned off
The printer starts and performs the refresh operation at intervals set beforehand (OFF/10 to 120 minutes)
while the power is turned off. (Sleep refresh function)

When <LOCAL> is displayed, press the
key.

Select the [MAINTENANCE] with the
key, and press the
key.

Select the [
SLP.MAINTENANCE
] with the
key, and press the
key.

Select the [
REFRESH
] with the
key, and press the key.

Set the intervals that refresh operations
are performed with the key,
and press the key.
• Refresh intervals
OFF : Refresh operations are not performed while the power is turned off.
10 ~ 120 : The printer starts and performs the flushing operation automatically at set
intervals (10 to 120 minutes).

Select refresh or not for each head, and
press the key.
(1) Select the head with the key.
(2) Select refresh or not (“*” marked) with the key.

Press the key to finish.
• When the sleep maintenance function is enabled, the carriage moves to the flushing tray
while the power us turned off. Do not place any objects on the platen while the power is turned
off.
