Turning the power ON/OFF

Basic Operations
When Sleep Maintenance is set
When sleep refresh or sleep cleaning is set for sleep maintenance, additionally perform the refresh
operation and cleaning operation to prevent nozzle clogging.
(Supported from the firmware ver.2.40)
Sleep Refresh
1
Perform the refresh operation while the
printer is in sleep mode.
When the printer starts up from sleep mode, warm
water is prepared.
Once warm water is prepared, the carriage moves
to the flushing tray on the left side of the printer
and then performs flushing.

The carriage moves back to the station
(on the right hand side) after flushing,
and the power is turned off automatically.
Sleep Cleaning

Perform the sleaning operation while
the printer is in sleep mode.
When the printer starts up from sleep mode, warm
water is prepared.
Once warm water is prepared, cleaning starts.
Once warm water is prepared, the carriage moves
to the flushing tray on the left side of the printer
and then performs flushing.

The carriage moves back to the station
(on the right hand side) after flushing,
and the power is turned off automatically.
The printer starts up at intervals set in “SLP MAINTENANCE” in the
maintenance menu. ( P.4-22 “Setting the Maintenance
Performed while the Power Is Turned off”)
Do not place any objects on the platen because the carriage moves.
Do not remove the cartridges while the power is turned off.
