6.4.3 Testing Valves
Malfunctioning valves will lead to tubing malfunctions. Therefore, testing the
valves is a major way to remove fluidic errors.
At the Self-test screen, press [F1] to select the Valve group, as Figure 6-21
shows. The following test items will be displayed on the right of the screen.
Press the appropriate arrow keys ([↑][↓][←][→])to select the valve you want to
check and press [ENTER] to test it. If the valve goes through the Off-On-Off
sequence without making abnormal sound, it passes the test. Otherwise,
something may be wrong with the valve.

6.4.4 Testing Circuits
At the Self-test screen, press [F1] to select the Circuit group, as Figure 6-22
shows. You can test the A/D interrupt at this screen by pressing [ENTER] to
see whether the WBC, RBC and PLT signals can be properly converted into
digital signals.
