Figure2–2 Charging port
The charging port of the wireless probe is equipped with magnetic pogo pins and allows the
charging cable plug to be inserted in either direction, as shown in 4 of Figure 2-2.
Main function:
• This port provides 5 V or 9 V input voltage to charge the probe, and transmits probe presence
and battery level signals to the connected device.
• When the port is connected to an external power source, the power source powers the probe
and charges its battery. When the port is not connected, the probe is powered by its battery.
The following figure shows how the charging cable is connected to the wireless probe.

The charging cable has pogo pins on one end and a Type-A port on the other end for connection
with a Type-A adapter. An adapter providing 5 V/3 A output is recommended, and the minimum
rating of the adapter can be 5 V/1 A. See 5 and 6 in Figure 2-2.
Main function:
• The charging cable is only used to charge the wireless probe.
