To Change the System Speed-Dial Password
1. From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2. Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
3. Select “System Programming”.
4. Enter the System Programming Password and select “System”.
5. Select “Change Password”.
6. Select “Speed Dial Password”.
7. Select “Change” and enter a four-digit number.
8. Select “Confirm”.
To Change the Programming Extension
System programming can only be carried out at one Feature Phone, that is, the Feature Phone connected to the
programming extension. By default, extension 20 is the programming extension. The programming extension
can be changed to any other extension.
1. From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2. Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
3. Select “System Programming”.
4. Enter the System Programming Password and select “System”.
5. Select “Programming Position”.
6. Select the extension you wish to have as the programming extension. The selected programming extension is
denoted by a “♦”.
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
Night Service
When the switch is placed in Night Service the extensions that ring on incoming calls can be different to those
that ring in Day Service (see page
99). The class-of-service at each extension can also be different (see page 85).
The voice greeting heard by callers (if you have voice mail installed) is different for day and night modes.
These changes can take place automatically at pre-programmed times daily, or can be invoked manually.
Furthermore, the system can be programmed to remain in “Night Service” over the weekend.
To Set the Automatic Start and End Times for Night Service
The Automatic Night Service feature allows you to set two time bands in each twenty-four hour interval; the
system then automatically enters “Night Service”.
1. From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2. Press the Scroll Down key () until “System Programming” is displayed.
3. Select “System Programming”.
4. Enter the System Programming Password and select “System”.
5. Press the Scroll Down key () until “Night Service” is displayed.
6. Select “Night Service”.
7. Select “Automatic On Times”.
8. Select “On Time 1” to set the first time the “Night Service” turns on automatically.
9. Enter the time in 24-hour format e.g., 1400 is 2:00pm.
10. Press “Confirm”.
11. Select “On time 2” to set the second time the “Night Service” turns on automatically.
12. Enter the time in 24-hour format e.g., 1400 is 2:00pm.
13. Press “Confirm”.
14. Select “Off time 1” to set the first time the “Night Service” turns off automatically.
15. Enter the time in 24-hour format e.g., 1400 is 2:00pm.
16. Press “Confirm”.
17. Select “Off time 2” to set the first time the “Night Service” turns off automatically.
18. Enter the time in 24-hour format e.g., 1400 is 2:00pm.
19. Press “Confirm”.
