System Overview
All the connections and control elements are accessible from the front. The display elements are arranged
so that they remain visible whatever the installation position.

The communication server can be expanded using interface cards and system modules. The Mitel SMB
Controller ships with a fitted CPU module, 6 analogue terminal interfaces and 4 Gbit-LAN connections.
2.2.1 Installation versions
The Mitel SMB Controller is suitable for both desktop installation, wall mounting and installation in a
19" rack. Covers for connecting cables and special installation covers for rack installation are available
separately.
