6.4.4 Special functions
The pilot key is used to carry out various functions. For certain functions the system has to be in a
particular operating state beforehand.
6.4.4.1 Shutting down the SMB Controller
The SMB Controller must be shut down in a controlled manner. This is described in chapter Shut-down
mode).
6.4.4.2 Reset the IP address data
The IP address data of the SMB Controller is stored in a flash chip and is retained, even after a first start of
the MiVoice Office 400 call manager. The following sequence only resets the IP address data of the SMB
Controller to the default values. All other data is retained.
1. The SMB Controller is in normal mode or in emergency mode
• For normal mode: The pattern [18] is showed.
2. Press the pilot key (CTRL) 5 times within a time frame of 5 seconds.
• Each time you press the pilot key, the F1 - F5 LED lights up orange one by one
(Example: After 2 clicks, pattern [19] is showed).
• After the fifth key press, the F1 - F5 LED are switched off and the F0 LED lights up orange to
indicate, that the fixed default IP address is set (pattern [20]).
• You can now reach the SMB Controller with the default IP address.
Default values of the IP address data:
• IP address: 192.168.104.13
• Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
• Gateway: 0.0.0.0
