2． X-axis unit
This is a unit for traversing the detector unit in the X-axis direction (horizontal
direction).
2-1 Level meter
Indicates the detector stylus position.
It also indicates a traversing direction by lighting the arrow LED when the detector
is traversed by the motor drive.

rightward.
2-2 Traverse scale
Indicates where the detector is located in the X-axis stroke. The lower-side scale is
in mm units.
2-3. X-axis fine feed wheel
Manually feeds the Z1-axis detector in the X-axis direction. The Z1-axis detector
feeds 2 mm per rotation.
CAUTION
•Do not touch the fine feed wheel while the detector is being electrically moved via the
joystick or PC. The wheel is rotated by the rotating force of the motor, and thus
dangerous conditions may result.
