6. Emergency stop switch
Turns off the control power to the measuring main unit.
Used in case of emergency, such as at measurement trouble and
occurrence of danger to the system and personnel to immediately stop the
measuring main unit operation.
If any emergency stop situation is encountered, press the EMERGENCY
stop switch. The control power supply to the measuring main unit is shut
down to halt the operation.
TIP
• Restoration procedure after turning on the EMERGENCY STOP switch
1. Quit the analysis software.
2. Turn off the power switch on the controller.
3. Release the EMERGENCY STOP switch. (Turn the switch in the direction
indicated by arrows to release it.)
4. Turn on the power switch on the controller.
5. If necessary, move each axis to a safe location with the joystick on the
remote box.
6. Boot the analysis software.
7. Perform “origin setup” for each axis.
