B. Remove the spring/carriage hex screw securing the . spring
side of the stepper band to the carriage (refer to figure
4-9).
C. Remove the nut and stud securing the non-spring side of the
stepper band to the carriage (refer to figures 4-10). Do
not remove the hex screw and nut which fasten the spring to
the stepper band.
D. Remove the hex screw and clip that mounts the band to the
pulley .
E. Band can now be lifted off stepper motor pulley.
To replace the band perform the following steps:
Non-Spring Side
Track 00
End Stop
A. Consider the preceding steps in the reverse order.
B. On the band, slip the non-spring side through the slot in
the band.
