8. Blow out fuel line (3) and pressure pipe
neck (1) with compressed air.
9. Coat sealing ring with assembly compound
and fit onto pressure pipe neck (1).
10. Coat sealing cone of pressure pipe neck with
engine oil.
11. Insert pressure pipe neck into cylinder head
until it is in contact with the sealing ring.
12. Fully press in pressure pipe neck (1) by hand.
13. Tighten thrust screw (2) to specified torque using a torque wrench.

14. Tighten screw for clamp at injector to specified torque using a torque wrench.

15. Install fuel line (3).
16. Tighten union nut on injection pump to specified torque using a torque wrench.

17. Tighten union nut on pressure pipe neck to specified torque using a torque wrench.

18. Install leak-off-fuel lines.

1. Install cylinder head cover (→ Page 158).
2. Vent fuel system (→ Page 170).
