Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

Checking engine monitoring
unit plug connections
1. Use connector pliers (3) to make certain that
all engine monitoring unit plug connections
are securely seated.
2. Tighten loose bayonet union nuts (2) with
connector pliers (3) by turning them clock-
wise until they lock into place.
3. Make sure that unassigned sockets are
closed off with cover caps.
4. If bayonet union nuts are defective, contact
Service.
