2. Open threaded vent plug (5) of filter to be
drained.
3. Unlock drain valve (6) by pressing toggle and
open it.
4. Drain water and contaminants from filter until
pure fuel emerges.
5. Close drain valve (6).
6. Remove screws for cover and take off cov-
er (2).
7. Fill filter housing with clean fuel.
8. Place new gasket in cover (2).
9. Fit cover with gasket and secure it with
screws.
10. Cut in the cut-out filter again.
11. Close threaded vent plug (5) when fuel
emerges from system.
Draining fuel prefilter of single-
stage filter
1. Open threaded vent plugs (1).
2. Open drain valve (2).
3. Drain water and contaminants from filter until
pure fuel emerges.
4. Close drain valve (2).
5. Connect filling pump to filling connection (1)
on the intake side of the filter.
6. Open threaded vent plug (2) and fill with fuel
until fuel emerges from the vent pipe (3).
7. Close threaded vent plugs (2).
