7.23.3 LOP – Running test procedures
Preconditions
☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
Preparatory steps
1. Connect battery in accordance with battery
manufacturer's instructions.
2. Switch on master power switch.
3. Switch on engine management system
ECS-5.
Result: • LOCAL OPERATION illuminated pushbut-
ton (1) is illuminated brightly (local control
mode is active);
Switching between local and remote control mode (automatic on-board net-
work)
1. Press LOCAL OPERATION illuminated pushbutton (1).
Result: • LOCAL OPERATION illuminated pushbutton (1) flashes: Setting does not correspond with feedback signal
from engine control system.
• LOCAL OPERATION illuminated pushbutton (1) is illuminated at basic brightness: Remote control mode is
active.
2. Press LOCAL OPERATION illuminated pushbutton (1) again.
Result: LOCAL OPERATION illuminated pushbutton (1) is illuminated brightly (local control mode is active);
