Apply power to the terminal so the CD-ROM drive can be opened.

Insert the CD that contains the operating system image.

Boot the terminal.

F2
at the screen prompt to enter Setup.

In the
Advanced
menu, select
I/O Device Configuration
.

Verify that the
LPT 1 Mode
is set to
ECP
.
9.
Go back to the
Advanced
menu, select
Multiple ROM Menu
.
10.
Set the
Parallel CD-ROM Boot
to
Enabled
.
11.
Exit Setup and Save Changes.
As the terminal reboots, you should see a message during boot
indicating that the CD-ROM has been recognized:

Starting MS-DOS

Follow the DOS screen prompts. After each entry you are asked to
confirm your input. You can use
1
or
y
for Yes,
2
or
n
for No.

Enter whether or not you want to perform
Disk verification

(Answering Yes takes twice as long, but is recommended.)
If Yes is selected:
•
The Ghost
®
software verifies write operations and handles bad
FAT clusters.
•
The Ghost error file (GHOST.ERR) is displayed before
rebooting
