5. Using On-Screen Menu
Setting ID to the Projector [CONTROL ID]
YoucanoperatemultipleprojectorsseparatelyandindependentlywiththesingleremotecontrolthathastheCONTROL
IDfunction.IfyouassignthesameIDtoalltheprojectors,youcanconvenientlyoperatealltheprojectorstogether
usingthesingleremotecontrol.Todoso,youhavetoassignanIDnumbertoeachprojector.
CONTROL ID NUMBER �������Select a number from 1 to 254 you wish to assign to your projector�
CONTROL ID �����������������������Select [OFF] to turn off the CONTROL ID setting and select [ON] to turn on the CONTROL ID set-
ting�
NOTE:
• When[ON]isselectedfor[CONTROLID],theprojectorcannotbeoperatedbyusingtheremotecontrolthatdoesnotsupport
theCONTROLIDfunction.(Inthiscasethebuttonsontheprojectorcabinetcanbeused.)
• Yoursettingwillnotbeaffectedevenwhen[RESET]isdonefromthemenu.
•PressingandholdingtheENTERbuttonontheprojectorcabinetfor10secondswilldisplaythemenuforcancelingtheControl
ID.
Assigning or Changing the Control ID
1. Turn on the projector.
2. Press the ID SET button on the remote control.
TheCONTROLIDscreenwillbedisplayed.
IftheprojectorcanbeoperatedwiththecurrentremotecontrolID,the[AC-
TIVE]willbedisplayed.Iftheprojectorcannotbeoperatedwiththecurrent
remotecontrolID,the[INACTIVE]willbedisplayed.Tooperatetheinactive
projector,assignthecontrolIDusedfortheprojectorbyusingthefollowing
procedure(Step3).
3. Press one of numeric keypad buttons while pressing and holding the ID
SET button on the remote control.
Example:
Toassign“3”,pressthe“3”buttonontheremotecontrol.
NoIDmeansthatalltheprojectorscanbeoperatedtogetherwithasingle
remotecontrol.Toset“NoID”,enter“000”orpresstheCLEARbutton.
TIP:TherangeofIDsisfrom1to254.
4. Release the ID SET button.
TheupdatedCONTROLIDscreenwillbedisplayed.
NOTE:
•TheIDscanbeclearedinafewdaysafterthebatteriesarerundownorremoved.
•Accidentallypressinganyoneofthebuttonsoftheremotecontrolwillclearcurrently
speciedIDwithbatteriesremoved.
