❾ Controlling the Projector by Using an HTTP Browser
Overview
Usingthewebbrowseronthecomputer,theHTTPserverscreenoftheprojectorcanbedisplayedtooperatethe
projector.
FortheHTTPserverscreenoftheprojector,thereisthebasicHTTPserverscreen(commontobothHDBaseTmodels
andMMmodels)andthededicatedHTTPserverscreenforMMmodels.
Possible operations on the HTTP server screen

• Whenusingthefollowingfunctions,congurethesettingsrequiredforconnectingtheprojectortothenetwork

• Conguretheemailnotication.(ALERTMAIL)
Whentheprojectorisconnectedtoanetwork(wiredLAN),noticationsonthelampreplacementperiodandvari-
ouserrorsaresenttotheemailaddressthathasbeensetup.

1. ConnecttheprojectortothecomputerwithaLANcablesoldcommercially.(→ page 169)
2. Select[SETUP]→[NETWORKSETTINGS]→[WIREDLAN]intheon-screenmenutocongurethenetwork
settings. (→ page 122)
3. Start up the web browser on your computer and enter the address or URL in the input field.
SpecifytheaddressorURLas“http://<IPAddressofProjector>/index.html”.
ThebasicHTTPserverscreenwillbedisplayed.
(2)HTTPserverscreenforMMmodelsonly
1. ConnecttheprojectortothecomputerwithaLANcablesoldcommercially.(→ page 169) Alternatively,
install a wireless LAN unit sold separately. (→ page 170)
2. Select[INPUTTERMINAL]→[ETHERNET]intheon-screenmenu.
