Step 2: Connect the projector to a LAN.

Step 3: Start Image Express Utility Lite.
1. OnWindows,click“Start”→“Allprograms”→“NECProjectorUserSupportware”→ “Image Express Utility
Lite”→“ImageExpressUtilityLite”.
ImageExpressUtilityLitewillstart.
Theselectwindowfornetworkconnectionwillbedisplayed
2. SelectNetworkandclick“OK”.
Theselectwindowfordestinationwillshowalistofconnectableprojectors.
• Whenconnectingthecomputerdirectlytotheprojectorbyone-to-one,“EasyConnection”isrecommended.
• Whenoneormorenetworksfor“EASYCONNECTION”arefound,the“EasyConnectionSelectionScreen”
windowwillbedisplayed.
• Toverifythenetworkusedbytheprojectortobeconnected,displaythe[INPUTTERMINAL]→[ETHERNET]→
[NETWORKSETTINGS(MM)]→[NETWORKINFORMATION]screenontheon-screenmenuoftheprojector
andcheckthe“SSID”characterstring.
3. Selectthenetworkyouwishtoconnect,andclick“Select”.
Thetargetselectionwindowwillbedisplayed.
4. Placeacheckmarkforprojectorstobeconnected,andthenclick“Connect”.
• Whenmultipleprojectorsaredisplayed,displaythe[INPUTTERMINAL]→[ETHERNET]→[NETWORKSET-
TINGS(MM)]→[NETWORKINFORMATION]screenontheon-screenmenuoftheprojectorstobeconnected
andcheckthe[IPADDRESS].
Whenconnectingwiththeprojectorisestablished,youcanoperatethecontrolwindowtocontroltheprojector.(→

NOTE:
• Projectorsinwhichthe[STANDBYMODE]intheon-screenmenuhasbeensetto[NORMAL](powerindicatorislightedupinred)
andthoseinwhichthe[PROGRAMTIMER]hasbeensetup(powerindicatorblinksslowly)willnotbedisplayedintheconnection
destination options when the unit is in the standby mode.
