Secretary Call Pickup
Description
Secretary Call Pickup lets a Multiline Terminal user easily reroute calls intended for a co-worker to
themselves. By pressing a Secretary Call Pickup key, the user can have all calls to a co-worker’s
telephone ring or voice-announce theirs instead. Secretary Call Pickup is a simplified type of Call
Forward with Follow Me for employees that work closely together. This feature could be helpful to
customer service representatives that must frequently cover each other’s clients. When a
representative leaves their desk, an associate could press the Secretary Call Pickup key to intercept
all their calls.
An extension can have a Secretary Call Pickup key for any number of extensions, limited only by the
available number of programmable keys.
Conditions
• Secretary Call Pickup is not available to Single Line Terminal users.
• An extension user can also have Call Forwarding with Follow Me reroute a co-worker’s calls to
themselves.
• A Multiline Terminal can have a Secretary Call Pickup key for a Single Line Terminal.
