View and Save Access Point Lists
The wireless access point detects nearby APs and wireless stations and maintains them in a
list. You can use this list to prevent them from connecting to the wireless access point.
To view the Unknown AP List and save it to a file:
1. Select Monitoring
> Rogue AP > Unknown AP List. The Unknown AP List screen
displays:

2. Click Refresh to let the wireless access point discover the access points and populate the
Unknown AP List for the selected 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz modes.
The following table explains the fields of the Unknown AP List screen:
3. Click Sav
e to export the list of unknown or known APs to a file. A window opens so you can
browse to the location where you want to save the file. The default file name is macList.txt.
Table 21. Unknown AP List Fields
Field Description
MAC Address The MAC address of the unknown AP.
SSID The SSID that the unknown AP is using.
Privacy Indicates whether or not security is enabled (1 means enabled; 0 means
disab
led).
Channel The channel that the unknown AP is using.
Rate The transmit data rate in Mbps of the unknown the AP.
Beacon Int. The interval for each beacon transmission in ms.
# of Beacons The number of beacons transmitted by th
e unknown AP that the wireless
access point has detected.
Last Beacon The timestamp that indicates the time
when the most recent beacon was
detected.
