4.4.4 Software LED
The Software LED gives the general status of the installed software or the updates.
LED Color Code
Description
Red
The terminal has a newer software version than the running software
version, and the newer software version was not selected because the
software validation process failed.
Yellow
The terminal is retrieving new software via satellite.
This can take up to 10 minutes.
Green
No problem. The terminal is running with the latest software version.
4.4.5 Rebooting the Modem
See section ModemBackPanelonpage4 for similarities with the hardware button
reboot.
» Click the Reboot link at the right of the status bar to reboot the terminal.
The modem will reboot and return to the Status page. This may take up to one minute, including
satellite link initialization.
