Figure 1-3 Link types
Referring to Figure 1-2 on page 16, the tail component on the right-hand side includes
the encoder that provides the position of the scanner around the pipe. You can also
use only the encoder side of the scanner to inspect the pipe-to-component interfaces
(see Figure 1-4 on page 17).
