5.4 Setting the cavity pressure
Maintaining the cavity pressure at an excessively high
pressure for a long period may cause complications, etc.
Take sufficient care on the cavity pressure setting and always
use the optimum pressure.
Set the cavity pressure to the desired value using the “+” or “–” pressure setting
switch. Pressing “+” increases the set value and pressing “–” decreases it.
• The available cavity pressure range varies depending on the
cavity mode.
• To increase the pressure to 20 mmHg or 21 mmHg in the
“NORMAL” cavity mode, press and hold the “+” pressure
selector switch for 3 seconds.
Cavity mode Setting pressure range Note
NORMAL
3 – 25 mmHg
(0.4 – 3.3 kPa)
To increase the pressure from 20
to 21 mmHg, keep pressing “+”
for at least 3 seconds.
SMALL
3 – 15 mmHg
(0.4 – 2.0 kPa)
