3.6 Connecting the electrosurgical unit (ESG-400,
UES-40) or the SonoSurg generator (USG-400,
SonoSurg-G2)
This product, when combined with the electrosurgical unit (ESG-400, UES-40) or
the SonoSurg generator (USG-400, SonoSurg-G2) can exhaust fumes and mist
generated in the body cavity by synchronizing the ultrasonic or high-frequency
output and the exhaust function.
Never connect a cable other than the optional
communication cable to the high flow insufflation unit.
Otherwise, the high flow insufflation unit cannot perform
appropriately and injury or equipment damage may result.
• When using the automatic mist & smoke evacuation
system/function, also refer to the instruction manual for the
electrosurgical unit (ESG-400, UES-40) or the SonoSurg
generator (USG-400, SonoSurg-G2).
• To prevent malfunction, connect either the compatible
electrosurgical or compatible SonoSurg generator to the high
flow insufflator.
