Chapter 5 Operation
HIGH FLOW INSUFFLATION UNIT UHI-4
When a filter is used with the device, connect the insufflation
tube to the UHI-4 as described in “Connecting an insufflation
tube (MAJ-590)” on page 59.
5.1 Operating steps
The following is the operation workflow. For details on each step, read the
corresponding description.
In addition to the operation described in the steps below, this instrument
incorporates the functions listed below. Please read the description before
performing any of the following functions.
• Relief mode (Function for automatic exhaustion of gas in the case of
excessive pressure)

• Automatic suction (Function for auto suction of gas in the case of
excessive pressure)

• User mode (Function for modifying the settings of the instrument)

1. Turning the high flow insufflation unit ON.
