8. When you are finished encoding the Master
Cards, press the MENU key to select another
function, or press the EXIT key to log out of the
system.
Change Master Code
This function is used to “rekey” a property if a
Master Card is lost or stolen by changing the code of
the lost or stolen Master Card. Once this function has
been performed, all Master Cards of the same type
must be re-encoded with the new information. The
old Master Cards of that level will not operate the
locks.
To change the master code for a master level, perform
the following steps:
1. Enter your password and press the ENTER key.
2. Press the MENU key.
3. Press the RIGHT ARROW key once to enter the
Mastering menu.
4. Press the DOWN ARROW key twice to select
Change Master Code.
5. Press the ENTER key. The screen will display a list
of the master levels. Use the UP and DOWN
ARROW keys to select the level of the master you
need to change.
