5.5 Power ON /OFF Timing
The power on/off timing of the scan engine is described below.
5.5.1 Power-On Timing
Power-on timing indicates the time from power on until barcodes are readable.

Cannot be used when Handshaking is set to MODEM, because the RTS signal is “High.”

5.5.2 Power-Off Timing
When the power is turned off while an input signal to the scan engine is high, leakage current is
drawn from that signal. So, set all input signals to the scan engine to “High impedance” or
“Low.
When power to the scan engine is turned off (V

before turning on the power again.
