CAUTION
Overheating of the hydraulics due to excessive strain
Burns, injuries caused by falling due to changes in functionality and damage to prosthesis com
ponents

Do not touch overheated prosthesis components.
►
In case of changes in functionality, stop all activities and allow the overheated prosthesis
components to cool down.
►
In case of changes in functionality, reduce strain on the prosthesis component in order to
allow cooling.
►
In case of overheating or changes in functionality, have the prosthesis component inspected
for damage by a service centre authorised by the manufacturer.

Inform the patient.

If the product is damaged check it for proper function and readiness for use.

In case of changes in or loss of functionality, do not continue using the product (see "Signs
of changes in or loss of functionality during use" in this section).

Take suitable measures if required (e.g. repair, replacement, inspection by the manufac
turer's customer service etc.).

Inform the patient.

Noticeable functional changes may include poor response, incomplete extension, diminished
swing phase control or stance phase stability, abnormal noises, etc.
