Trunk Access
Description
The System supports the following ways to seize an idle trunk to make an outside call:
• Direct Trunk Access
• MCO Trunk Access
Direct Trunk Access
Extensions can seize a specific trunk for outgoing calls. Extensions can also use Direct Trunk Access
to test trunks or to access data trunks.

MCO Trunk Access
The System supports up to 5 MCO groups for each MCO tenant group. You can seize an idle trunk
from the MCO trunk group by entering the MCO access code.
Operation
To seize an idle trunk:
Action Result
1. Lift the handset or press the ON/OFF key.
2. Enter the Direct Trunk Access code (default = 88).
3. Enter the desired trunk number. Outside dial tone
4. Dial the phone number.
