10. Using the Wi-Fi/NFC Function
A connection can be easily established by pressing and holding [Wi-Fi] or by using the
NFC function.
1 Press and hold [Wi-Fi] on the camera.
The information required for connecting the smartphone to
this unit (QR code, SSID and password) is displayed.
If you press [MENU/SET] on the camera, the QR code will
be enlarged. When it is difficult to scan the QR code, try
enlarging it.
To change the connection method, press [DISP.], and then
select the connection method. (P262)
The same screen can be displayed by selecting the
following menu items.
A SSID and password
B QR code
2 Operate the smartphone/tablet.
Once the connection is complete, the image from the camera will be displayed on the
screen of the smartphone.
(After this operation, it may take a while for the connection to be completed.)
The connection method differs according to your smartphone.

Preparations:
Install the “Image App” in advance. (P258)
> [New Connection] > [Remote Shooting
& View]
