CB 240 Climbing Formwork
Instructions for Assembly and Use – Standard Configuration
B4 Crane-Assisted Climbing
1. Preparation
Determining the retraction distance
and estimating the platform weight
The retraction distances are reference
values. They have been so designed that
the platform inclines approx. up to 2.0°
to the wall which makes mounting ea-
sier. Table 2.
The ideal retraction distance is deter-
mined during the first moving procedure
and the length of the retraction distance
is noted and marked on the decking.
3. Securing the Climbing Unit
If the securing bolts cannot be in-
serted, personnel are to leave the
platform and then repeat the moun-
ting procedure!
1. Access platform.
2. Lift securing bolts (1.5) and pivot under
the scaffold mounting ring (5.6) and
secure with cotter pin. (Fig. B4.07)
3. Remove crane hook and close concre-
ting platform decking.
