12.02 Lubricating the hook
Turn the machine off!
● Apply 1-2 drops of oil into hole 1 of the
hook gib every day.
● Before commissioning and after longer
standstill periods, also apply a few drops
of oil into the hook race (see arrow).

12.03 Filling the oil reservoir
Check the oil level before every
use.
● Fill oil through hole 1 into the reservoir as
required.
There must always be oil in the
oil reservoir.

Use only oil with a mean viscosity of 22.0 mm
2
/s at 40°C and a density of 0.865
g/cm
3
at 15°C.
We recommend PFAFF sewing machine oil.
