Safety - Technical Description
The following information is provided to comply with Clause 7.9.3 in IEC 60601-1 (3
rd
Edition) for information that is
“essential for safe operation, transport and storage, and measures or conditions necessary for installing the

b) Explanation of symbols used on the device including Cl. 6 (IEC 60601-1) applicable classifications (Type BF,
IP55) and an explanation of safety signs and other symbols.
c) For reference, the general danger and warning statements from the LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator Operating
Instructions, 3321515.
d) A brief description of the LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator and its functions, and the device’s significant physical and
performance characteristics.
e) Information concerning circuit diagrams, component lists available for authorized service representatives
