Battery Status: To check battery status for non-connected devices, refer to Using Voice Prompts for
Troubleshooting.
90 days from Battery Expiration: Device readiness status changes to Needs Attention - Battery expiring
which will trigger an email notification being sent to customer with email title: Needs Attention - Battery
expiring. The email will be resent monthly if device status does not change.
After Battery Expiration: Device readiness status changes to Not Ready (Battery expired) and an email
notification is sent. Email notification will be resent weekly if device status does not change (Monday at
12:01am local time).
Performance Inspection Procedure (PIP)
Overview: The Performance Inspection Procedure (PIP) is a set of manual and computer assist test procedures. The
PIP is used for an operational, closed-case evaluation of the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator to determine if the defibrillator
is operating within the required specifications. The PIP will be performed in a regularly scheduled preventive
maintenance routine.
NOTE:
1. Always use the latest version of the PIP document, PN 3323342, to perform PIP.
2. PIP document, PN 3323342, can be downloaded from SmartSolve.
