CR2 Trainer Device Overview
The LIFEPAK CR2 Trainer, AED Training System, provides realistic training in the use of the LIFEPAK CR2
defibrillator without the actual charge and discharge of electrical energy. The trainer is recommended so users can
practice using the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator in simulated cardiac arrest situations. The LIFEPAK CR2 Trainer also
simulates the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator features and functionality for sales demonstrations and customer
evaluation.
The Trainer device will function and provide learners with the following educational values:
• Simulates the LIFEPAK CR2 AED in appearance, features and operation
• Provides a cost-effective CPR/AED training solution
• Provides the same intuitive and simple operation as the LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator
• Consumes 4 standard D-cell batteries
• Displays Setup and configuration in LCD Display screen
• Utilizes a reusable electrode tray
• Localizes in text and voice prompts
• Software flexibility covers scenarios that reflect certified global CPR/AED training courses, LIFEPAK CR2
defibrillator operation, and specific sales demonstrations.
