The airplane nameplate placard (Figure 1, Item 15) is located on the left side of the fuselage near the
stabilator leading edge. The placard identifies the airplane by its model number and serial number. It is
important to include the airplane serial number in any correspondence with your Piper Dealer’s Service
Advisor (DSA).
NOTE: Any time an airplane is repainted or touched up, inspect all placards to ensure that they are not
covered with paint, are legible, and securely attached.
