(d) Allow oil temperature to reach at least 80 degrees F.
(e) Record the test static rpm using the Vu-thru tachometer and engine oil temperature.
NOTE: If wind speed exceeds 10 knots, record static rpm and oil temperature into the
wind, left crosswind, downwind, and right crosswind. Average the four test static
rpm values.
(f) With OAT and relative humidity, read static rpm from Chart 3.
(g) With the oil temperature and OAT, read delta rpm from Chart 4.
(h) Subtract the delta rpm obtained from Chart 4, from the static rpm obtained from Chart 3.
This is the baseline.
C. Allowable Tolerance
The tested static rpm from the Vu-thru tachometer shall be within ± 50 rpm of the baseline static
rpm.
