Caution:
1. Never push the converter into the slot with force; it could damage the chassis.
2. The Media Converter Chassis supports hot-swap; there is no need
to turn off the whole
chassis before sliding in the new converter.
2.2.4 Installing the SFP Transceiver
The sections describe how to insert an SFP transceiver into an SFP slot.
The SFP transceivers are hot-pluggable and hot-swappable. You can plug-in and out the transceiver to/from any SFP port
without having to power down the Managed Media Converter, as the Figure 2-3 shows..
