Select an access point or access point group using the checkboxes and click “Edit” to make configurations, or
click “Add” to add a new access point group. You can also use Profile Settings to assign the access point to
WLAN, RADIUS and Access Control groups independently from Access Point Group settings.
Check the “Override Default Settings” box to use different individual settings for access points assigned to AP
Groups

Object Description
Name
Edit the access point name. The default name is PLANET.
Description
Enter a description of the access point for reference, e.g., 2nd
Floor Office.
MAC Address
Displays MAC address.
AP Group
Use the drop-down menu to assign the AP to an AP Group. You
can edit AP Groups from the NMS Settings  Access Point page.
IP Address Assignment
Select “DHCP Client” for your access point to be assigned a
dynamic IP address from your router’s DHCP server, or select
