TOURING REAR CALIPER
Removal
1. Clean caliper area before removal.
2. Place a container below the caliper to catch brake fluid
that w
ill drain from the brake line. Remove brake line
from caliper
3. Remove the two caliper mounting bolts and the
caliper.
4. Loosen the adjuster screw and remove the brake
p
ads.
5. Remove mounting bracket, pin assembly and dust
b
oot.
6. Remove piston, dust seals and piston seals.
7. Clean the caliper body, piston, and retaining bracket
with br
ake cleaner or alcohol.
NOTE: Be sure to clean seal grooves in caliper
body
.
Use care when supporting vehicle so that it does not
tip or fall. Severe injury may occur.
